Corporate Role-play
Direct Impact provides professional actors for Role-play in training and business situations throughout the North West. We now work with Colleges, Universities, Legal firms, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Businesses across a wide range of applications. Steve and Mark are both trained Drama Practitioners with several years experience within the industry, and also teach Drama at Liverpool Community College.
As drama teachers their work initially focused on devising and facilitating workshops in schools and colleges. Subsequently they began working with legal associations and the Fire Service. Assignments generally involved role-playing for student and employees in workshops and exam situations in order to improve and consolidate their communication skills. Latterly, Direct Impact has expanded its offering to include the supply of role-players for human resources, legal and police skills training.
All our role-players are professionally trained actors who have worked extensively in the industry. Ranging in age, physical appearance and ethnicity, our role-players are ‘real people’ and are comfortable and experienced in business, medical and educational environments. In addition to being skilled at portraying a range of consistent, credible characters, all our role-players can offer specific constructive feedback to participants if required.
As each client’s requirements are different, we ensure that all role-players are accurately briefed prior to each project. If requested, this can include a face-to-face meeting with the client so that they can be confident that all participants have a full understanding of the assignment.
Direct Impact also provides Workshops that focus on Team Building, Trust, Confidence and Self Esteem. We use forum theatre, role-play, improvisation and unique exercises through which clients can develop their skills of enquiry and communication.
In addition to a range of tried and tested workshops/ role plays, we pride ourselves in devising scenarios/ workshops which meet organisations specific needs.
